Civic Center Renovations

Some big changes are coming to Civic Center Library.

The Civic Center Library is being renovated! We are hard at work to provide a better library for our customers. The library will be open during the renovation, with no change in operating hours.

Please bear with the inconvenience while we make changes.

You will soon see -

• A new coffee/snack bar
• An updated computer area
• A new Library Shop
• New flooring and doors at the entrance
• Automated book return for materials
• Updated seating and study areas
• More group study rooms

This project is funded through the City of Scottsdale general fund.

Civic Center Renovation Timeline

Construction began at 6 pm

Thursday January 12, 2012
Library update: Construction could last until mid-February while flooring options are explored.

During Construction
Public Computers, Customer Service, Cashier, Self-Checkouts and The Library Shop have been moved into the Gallery area near Youth.
