Holiday Greetings

Library Director, Rita Hamilton

As the 2008 holiday season comes upon us one is always reminded of the things for which are thankful. I am thankful for my friends and family, for our desert environment, and for those who work to preserve this planet. I'm also very thankful for the opportunity to bring great library service to Scottsdale and for the staff of the Scottsdale Public Library who make the best customer service look so easy. I'm thankful we have good collections, wonderful and award-winning buildings, and a great staff with a willingness to serve.

And to you, our customer, thank you for making 2008 a very good year and we look forward to seeing you in 2009. I hope you find some time to enjoy a good book, a great piece of music, or a funny movie soon.

Happy Holidays from all your friends at the Scottsdale Public Library!

- Rita Hamilton, Library Director
